Press Release Summary: Fixity Technologies Pvt ltd has entered into an agreement
with Lion City Radiology for the development and maintenance of PACS DICOM server
application. This is an extension of the current web development and RIS project
that Fixity Technologies Pvt Ltd had partnered Lion City Radiology earlier.


Press Release Body: PACS (Picture Archive and Communication System) and DICOM
(Digital Imaging and Communication in Medicine) is a new technology in medical
imaging science where by a circle of registered or group of hospitals can access a
common centralized server remotely. In the PACS server radiologists and doctors post
images and raw data of their patients which can be easily accessed and data can be
processed remotely for future research, records and study. Currently these
centralized servers are located at Singapore with future installations planned in
India and other countries. The PACS DICOM server thwarts the need for hospitals and
doctors to have their own physical or remote servers.
